Crate Smash (ボーナス：ハコつぶし lit. Bonus: Box Breaking in Japanese) is a bonus level in Crash Bandicoot Purple: Ripto's Rampage. The player must break all the crates before the time runs out. If the time runs out, a clock will fall on Crash and crush him, as well as losing all collected wumpa fruit as a penalty. There is always be a Pants Crate, which changes Crash's pants color.
