Jack D. McCoy is a former NASCAR driver from Ashland, OR. He competed in nine Nextel Cup Series events in his career, earning two top-tens. McCoy's debut came in 1956, when he competed at Phoenix. It was a mediocre debut for the driver, starting 26th in the field of thirty and winding up 20th. McCoy's final career race came in 1959, when he returned to Sacramento. He found no redemption at the track, overheating his engine and falling out to a 17th place finish in a twenty-six car field.
