Bruce Worrell is a former NASCAR driver from Lakewood, CA. He competed in twelve Sprint Cup Series events in his career, earning five top-tens. Worrell's debut came in 1960, when he competed at Phoenix. Worrell was immediately impressive, completing all but nine laps in the race to finish 7th. He quickly proved it was no fluke, following the Phoenix run up with a 13th at Hanford and a 9th place run at Sacramento.
