Quite obviously, a gun's range is predetermined. Excluding guns, every gun has a range--short-range, mid-range, or long-range. For the most part, these ranges are how the gun should be used. However, they do not have to be used this way. For example, a long-range gun such as the 3-Way Gun, can be used as a very effective mid-range weapon. In addition, short-range weapons like the Shotgun are often underestimated by commanders who specialize in long-range weapons. In general, short-range guns are the most powerful, mid-range guns pack medium damage, and long-range guns are somewhat limited.
