Rygel IX was a militarily aggressive Dominar of Hyneria, the leader of the victorious Hynerian forces at the Battle of Katreen. He apparently fought in the vanguard of his forces, rather than from the rear like most Hynerian commanders. His victories are thought to be part of the Hynerian repulse of the Charrids, during the founding days of the Hynerian Empire. ("Infinite Possibilities - Daedalus Demands")
