À force de prier was the Luxembourg entry at the Eurovision Song Contest 1963 in London performed by Nana Mouskouri. The song is a ballad, with Mouskouri telling the object of her affections that she intends to have him love her "by persistently praying" for this to occur. Moskouri recorded her entry in French, German (as "Die Worte dieser Nacht"), English ("The One That Got Away") and Italian ("La notte non lo sa"). It was performed last on the night of the Contest, following Monaco. At the close of voting, it had received 13 points, placing 8th.
