Gimerhead Ius was one of the six hatchlings of Ambrose Ius and Aryana Loit in 834 BBY. His name was chosen by Ambrose's friend Yoda to honor the gimer plant. He and his mother and siblings were kidnapped and brainwashed by Yodatine in 830 BBY, and taken to Cuzterthd, where Ambrose rescued them. However, the event scarred Gimerhead, who was impressed by Yodatine's power. In 784 BBY, Yodatine turned Gimerhead to the dark side. Gimerhead joined the Krupn. Aryana hired Tergo Shysa to track down Gimerhead. Gimerhead tried to murder Ambrose, but to prevent it, Aryana killed Gimerhead.
