Ron Dias was an American animator and painter. He was background designer on the films, Hey There, It's Yogi Bear (starring Daws Butler and Don Messick) and The Man Called Flintstone (starring Alan Reed, Jean Vander Pyl, and Mel Blanc), as well as art director on The Little Mermaid TV series (starring Kenneth Mars). Dias retired from animation in 1999, while continuing to paint. He died in 2013, at the age of 76.
