Gladiolus Thrip is a Type 12 Half-Life that has discovered that Luke Rutherford is the last living heir of Abraham Van Helsing. Thrip uses his henchman, Redlip to capture Luke's friend Ruby, planning to use her as bait to capture then kill Luke. The plan fails, and Luke manages to smit this half-life.
