V1 Red was a male Nasat scientist in the mid 24th century. Circa 2360, V1 conceived of a transportation system for Nasat that would employ a network of pneumatic tubes with inertial dumpers for deceleration at each terminus. V1 constructed the first such tube between his own forest (with the help of its quadrant governor and his cousin, V5 Red) and a neighboring forest, governed by C29 Green.
