Boyle Heights is a low-income, heavily Latino, youthful neighborhood of almost a hundred thousand residents in the East Los Angeles region of Los Angeles County, California. The district has more than twenty public schools and ten private schools. It has notable buildings and sites, and a number of notable people have lived in Boyle Heights or have been connected with it.
