The 1973-05 was an ASA National Tour event held at Track::Salem Speedway on May 20, 1973. It was the first of two fifty-lap twins held at the track on the same day. Dick Freeman won his first series race, holding off eventual series legend Mike Eddy. Eventual 1973 champ Dave Sorg logged a third place finish.
