Purple Team was devised in early 2520 by both Dr. Halsey and Franklin Mendez during the Spartan-II Program. The team consisted of Gary-009, Owen-022, Roman-071, Jane-105, Cassie-119 and Nichole-077. The team was known for frontal assaults and as shock troopers along with excellent piloting skills mostly from Jane and Roman. The team also acted heavily in the Post-War Era along with the Human-Covenant War. After the war ended, Purple Team became instrumental in the formation of the Spartan Joint Operations Units along with the remnants of Orange Team and Juliet Team.
