Qanon was a wise sahir of the Burning Sands who developed a spell which allowed the caster to create a supernatural bond between the sahir and a target, sharing their strengths as well as weaknesses. This magic was known as the Seed of Qanon, and after the Day of Wrath was used by jinn to hide themselves inside humans. Many scholars among the Iuchi believed he was a Shinsei-like figure whom their ancestors encountered during their travels.
