The High Elves originated in the region of Isdones. Their stronghold is the fortress-city of Ardolath in the Dragon Spires, though they maintain minor strongholds within the Greenwood Forest and in the Northern Peaks, as well as a minor enclave in Dark Wood in southern Waeland.
