George Rollie served as President Jed Bartlet's CIA Director in his second term. Prior to that, he served as Chairman of the National Intelligence Council during Bartlet's first term. He also served as President Bartlet's verbal punching bag on occasions, though what he had done to incur such deep dislike from the president is never revealed.
