The 2009 New Cambria National Song Contest was the sixth running of New Cambria Television's popular annual music competition. It took place over six successive Saturdays from 7 November to 12 December 2009. Preparations for the contest began in January 2009. A number of changes to the contest's format were introduced, including increasing the number of songs selected to participate and the way the finalists are selected.
