Oldivor was one of the last hold-outs against the Dark Brother after the High King was killed. When High Captain Valsak took Oldivor's fortress, he decided to be relatively merciful to Oldivor's men. Oldivor was taken to the Dark Brother's dungeons. However, Valsak's behavior had become too "noble" for the Dark Brother's liking, and so Oldivor was able to share his eternal torture with Valsak.
