Dr William George Burns M.A., M.B. was a physician and politician. He sat as a Municipal Reform Party member of the London County Council 1928-31 representing Holborn from 1928-31. The vice chairman of the Holborn Conservative Association, he was shortlisted by the Conservative Party to contest the Holborn parliamentary constituency in 1929 but did not got the nomination.
