In Frostfire, Drek'Thar reunited with Durotan. Soon after, Durotan and Ga'nar killed Fenris Wolfbrother, the chieftain of the Thunderlord clan. The Iron Horde wanted to avenge their fallen ally, they reached the Frostfire through the Thunder Pass. Thrall, Draka, Durotan, Ga'nar and Drek'Thar wanted to stop the Iron Horde from annihilating the Frostwolves. Drek'Thar tried to summon lightning and collapsed the cliff on the Iron Horde, but he needed more time. Ga'nar offered his life for the time Drek'Thar needed.
