Patrollers are users who are trusted to make good edits, and are allowed access to a few extra tools. Patrollers are no better than other users, but are well known around the wiki, and trusted. The Patroller rights are automatically part of the Administrators group, like the Rollback feature. The Patroller right can be requested by any trusted user at Request for Patroller rights.
