Inferniak was the evil king of the volcano-men, and as such was far larger than the rest of them. He once ruled the Jurassic Quadrant, but was defeated by a race of water-warriors and hid on Astro Prime, in a state of suspended animation. He slept for thousands of years until he was woken up by some of his men on Megalos, who had been defeated in a war with the megalosaurus there. He began militarizing his troops on Astro Prime, where they were discovered by the megalosaurus Tarq and Korlius, and swore revenge on all dinosaurs. When Tarq and Korlius, together with the Daring Dinos and Damona's Darlings, began exploring the caves, they were chased by the volcano-men and captured by Inferniak.
