Incendiary ammunition in Left 4 Dead 2 is a special item that allows bullets fired from the player's weapon to set anything they hit on fire. They are used as soon as the player picks the item up, so they can't be saved for later. Not much else is known about them right now. -As well some infected are immune to it's effects such as the hazmat zombie.
