The item has no other use other than cooking it to gain some cooking experience. Cooking a red dolphin requires level 115 Cooking, giving the player 320 Cooking experience. The Cooked red dolphin has several uses which are eating it, using it to open one of the boss room door in the Celestial Dungeon or using it as a repayment to fix one of the Celestial tools. Eating a red dolphin will only heal the player by 300 lp, but the cooked red dolphins are stackable, so an infinite number of them can be held in a players inventory. Although the item is non-tradeable, players do not need level 100+ Fishing and 115+ Cooking to obtain it, since some monsters in the Celestial Dungeon drop the item.
