The Type-800 Anti-Armor Beam Rifle was a type of high powered energy rifle developed and produced by the Mikaru Corporation. The weapon was charged by a compact fusion power cell that could fire off 10 consecutive shots before a cooldown and recharge cycle was needed. When fired, the weapon charged for one quarter of a second before firing a high intensity energy beam. The weapon was designed to fo more piercing and cutting damage than explosive damage. It could easily pierce through light vehicle armor and personnel armor with no issues and as one beam lasted 2 seconds it could cut deep into armor. The weapon could be fired 10 consecutive times, or for a single 20 second burst, which was powerful enough to slice through starship grade armor, if the shields were weak or offline.
