Walter Black is a screenwriter who wrote for numerous television shows between 1948 and 1975. Among his credits were cartoon series The Jetsons, The Flintstones, Jonny Quest and The Famous Adventures of Mr. Magoo, as well as My Son Jeep, Rawhide, Bonanza, The High Chaparral, Hawaii Five-O and Planet of the Apes (episode "The Tyrant"). Some of his scripts were translated for TV movies in foreign-language markets.
