Aki invented this technique from tutoring by Reiko as she is Seiryū of the Twelve Guardians. She first created the base, a stream of water ejected from her mouth, sharp enough to cut through trees. She then invented a variant that uses her swords to give it a foundation. Another variant does not need swords as it forms the swords out of water. Fuyuki copied the base technique and created her variant.
