The Journeyist-Human War was a war that took place between the years 2554 and 2587, and was fought mostly between four factions: the Human UNSC, the Covenant Separatists, the Covenant Remnants, and the Union of the Arbiter's Mausoleum. The term "Journeyist" refers to followers of the Covenant religion and the idea of the Great Journey (the Covenant Remnants and the Union of the Arbiter's Mausoleum). The term "Human" refers to the Human military organization known as the UNSC, which did the majority of fighting during the war; the Covenant Separatists played a role in only a few operations during the war, and thus it was almost entirely Humans that fought the Journeyists.
