A Jhorligg was a monstrous parasite found in Theft. They began their life-cycle as worm-like seeds swimming in shallow coastal waters. Upon finding their preferred host, a woman in her time of bleeding, the worm would swim inside and claim the womb. For six to seven months the host would be ravenously hungry as she quickly increased in size. Finally, on a moonlit night, the Johrligg would burst free from its host before turning around and completely consuming her. Then it would race to the sea.
