After arriving in Port Royal, Sparrow aqcuired this vessel through deception, impersonating an officer of the British Royal Navy. The Timothy was a Lugger armed with eight cannons and before being captained by Jack Sparrow, was a parole ship used under the Royal Navy. Jack scuttled the ship shortly after stealing the Retribution after complaining that it was too old and too slow for pirating.
