Twitchthroe is a unique Studded Leather. Its limited bonuses and defense make Twitchthroe only useful in early game to most classes. However its increased chance of block may be useful to characters (such as Paladins) proficient in shields. Depending on the gear set, this can be the best armor in the entire game for a Berserker barbarian using a shield, since not very many armors come with the convenient mix of handy melee bonuses.
