The Fort Wayne Daisies were a team in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League, playing out of Fort Wayne, Indiana. They debuted in 1945, replacing the Minneapolis Millerettes. They went 62-47 in their first season and finished 4 and a half games behind the first place Rockford Peaches. They spent several years near the bottom of the league, but finished first in the league's last three seasons, 1951-1954. They featured sister players Betty Foss and Joanne Weaver, who helped them capture the last five batting championships of the league and pitcher Jaynne Bittner. They made it to the playoffs in every year from 1947 to 1954, but never won the title.
