Sliding Beds were a cruel method of killing enemies in Seven Cities. They consisted of four tall spears each set upright, the victim sat atop the jagged points at the shoulders and upper thighs. Depending on the weight and the strength of will in staying motionless, the impaling and the slow slide down to the ground could take hours.
