The Casperia Prime medical conference was a meeting held on Casperia Prime in 2374 by Starfleet Medical. When Julian Bashir told Odo he would be attending the medical conference, the Changeling immediately knew it would be held on a pleasurable planet, telling Bashir, "Doctors always hold their conferences at sunny resorts". Section 31 took the opportunity to abduct Bashir on the day he left for the conference, as he disappearance would not be found out by the crew of Deep Space 9.
