Adrell was an individual who served as a Moff in the Galactic Empire during the Galactic Civil War between the Empire and the Alliance to Restore the Republic. The Moff operated out of the planet Manwess III in the Kilbanis sector, which was located in the Inner Rim region of the galaxy. While a Moff, Adrell posted a bounty of 10,000 credits on the Human counterfeiter Malindin Gevarak, who had created counterfeit Imperial currency for the Rebel Alliance and then fled Imperial authorities. An additional 2,000 credits was offered if Gevarak was captured alive with minimal injury.
