Lamai survived Order 66, and the Jedi Purge that followed; despite his initial attempts to warn both the Jedi Council and Chancellor Palpatine of the threat. Continued visions of a dark future however, brought Lamai to the realization that the turn of events he had predicted to occur had not yet come to pass, and so, dedicated himself to preventing it from coming about. Lamai was eventually drawn to the dark side of the Force by Darth Vader following their duel in 14 BBY, but was redeemed by Vader's own son—Jedi Master Luke Skywalker—eighteen years later.
