The Hyena fruit bat is a fruit bat that acts like a hyena. It has a hyena-like face. It resembles the lesser bare-backed fruit bat. It can usually be seen near brown hyenas. Even though it eats fruit, it eats some meat from the brown hyena's prey. It is an omnivore. It lives on the savannahs of Africa.
