A Borg data link was a Borg device used to contain log entries written in alphanumeric code. In 2374, while searching for clues to explain Seven of Nine's recent flight from the USS Voyager, Chief engineer B'Elanna Torres discovered a Borg data link in Seven's alcove. Ensign Harry Kim, who had become familiar with Borg language, managed to translate Seven's personal logs contained in the data link. Using this information, Captain Kathryn Janeway was able to deduce Seven's destination. (VOY: "The Raven")
