The Itode Grove held the ancient oaks in Nanashi Mura that the Dragon Clan forbid the ronin from removing,as it was considered sacred. The grove had no special importance but was a nuisance to the citizens. They served as a test of the ronin's loyalty and resolve. During the time after the Scorpion Coup many Scorpion Clan ronin hid in the grove calculating the city's possible worth to a fallen clan. Relies of their presence could be found in the grove.
