In reality, Trollenberg was a "crypto-terminator" a cybernetic organism who had waited hundreds of years to resurrect Skynet, the machine intelligence defeated by the forces of John Connor in 2035. After he was decapitated by a hunting Predator, Trollenberg's memory was accessed by Annalee Call, who remarked that the skull and wiring was "advanced in some ways, in others a real antique."
