The first and closest of La'an's two moons, Aleah is inhospitable to any forms of life due to a lack of an atmosphere and a near-unending night; Aleah is only un-eclipsed by La'an once every 7 years, and thus maintains a constant freezing temperature. Aleah is believed to once have been a part of La'an, due to its sharing of magnetic properties with its mother planet; this magnetic variance is why the Crossbones Exchange chooses to locate the majority of its Grid access hardware underneath the moon's surface.
