RAF Chipping Norton was a World War II Royal Air Force station near Chipping Norton in Oxfordshire. It was operational from 10 July 1940 to 1945 and returned to agricultural use when disposed of in 1950. An Advanced Training Squadron and Service Flying Training Schools (SFTS 6 and SFTS 15) operated from Chipping Norton. Oxfords and Harvard 1's flew from this airfield. The station was bombed on two occasions in October and November 1940. Little damage was done and on the second attempt the Luftwaffe missed the airfield by about a mile to the East.
