The Genetic Overload Distribution Device is nothing more then a glorified radiation gun, with the exception of having the ability to cause more specific damage to ones genetic structure in every cell of their body, causing death or disability. It short, it focuses radition emitted from the urainium-mercury mixture in the contained core. it is then channeled down the barrel, and out into the vicenity in front of the weapon. this can, unfortunatly, cause the radiation to surge back into the operator, or simply have the core containment break.
