Windows 98 Second Edition is an updated version of Windows 98 released on 1999-05-05. Many issues with the first version of the operating system were addressed, including the 49.7 day limit, and Year 2000 (Y2K)-incompliance. New features include DirectX 6.1, Internet Connection Sharing, Internet Explorer 5, NetMeeting 3.0, and Windows Media Player 6.2. Minimum system requirements are a 486DX2/66 MHz processor and 16 MB of RAM. Windows 98 SE is not designed to operate with more than 1.5 GB of RAM.
