Kornan, son of Shovak, was an officer in the Klingon Defense Forces during the 2370s. Kornan served as weapons officer of the Bird-of-Prey IKS Rotarran during the Klingon-Cardassian War and the conflict that followed after the Cardassian Union joined the Dominion in 2373. A deeply superstitious man, he believed that the crew of the Rotarran were cursed and would repeatedly be defeated by the Jem'Hadar. After becoming drunk, he attacked Leskit and Ortikan, leaving the latter badly injured. (DS9: "Soldiers of the Empire")
