Checksum was a financial record-keeping and auditing droid owned by Zorba Desilijic Tiure. He had the unfortunate duty of reporting a massive loss of profits at the Holiday Towers Hotel and Casino in Cloud City shortly after Zorba regained ownership of the facility from Lando Calrissian. Zorba responded by knocking him to the floor.
