Tau Delta III was supposedly the name of a planet in Federation space. Commander Montgomery Scott, while trying to remember the former name of the planet New Kelva, considered Tau Delta III as a possibility, as well as Delta Tau III. (SCE eBook: Foundations, Book Three) The actual name of the planet was never revealed, and it is unclear whether planet Tau Delta III actually existed.
