Richard "Rick" Spencer played by Victor Gardener, made his first screen appearance on 13 May 2014. The character and casting was announced on 17 April 2014. Rick is a bar owner, who employs Holly Cunningham (Amanda Clapham), before later moving to the village where several characters will be shocked to see him.
