The CBM100 is based on the Artist series and modeled after a 1997 artist model (possibly an AR700) that Bowles has owned since he was in high school and has played on every Zac Brown Band record. He uses the Artist, which he calls "Ibby", on stage as his main slide guitar. The guitar debuted at the 2016 NAMM show and was released in September 2016.
