The Reality Viewer was built by Wendy Venturas to allow her to see other realities in the multiverse, and attempt to warn those realities about Kalask's threat to them. Although warned not to continue her work on it due to fears that it could destabilize time and space, she nonetheless continued. The Viewer was affected by Gatekeeper's attempt to rewrite reality, leading to the temporary arrival of Jane Mitchell in the Prime Reality. It failed to help rescue Matt and Takuya from Dimensional Limbo, but was later transformed into a portal with help from Kyubi to save the Rangers from a collapsing pocket dimension.
